EXPERT GAS MEMBRANE INSTALLATIONS

What We Do

All of our membrane installations are fully welded using specialist thermal welding equipment we have. By doing this, the need for tape on joints is reduced, extending the buildings lifespan.

Buildings and other structures above and below the earth may be exposed to toxic, suffocating, combustible, and explosive ground gases. They could endanger users and occupants. Given that Brownfield site development is now prohibited by government guidelines, it’s critical to recognise the potential difficulties they may present.

The most frequent dangerous gases that our gas membrane products are designed to protect against include hydrocarbon, radon, methane, and carbon dioxide. Under typical atmospheric circumstances, these gases would naturally disperse; however, they pose a major concern to public health and safety when they leak into structures through cracks, crevices, and pipe openings.

Gas membranes are designed to be impermeable to hazardous gases, providing an effective barrier against their penetration. Given their critical role, gas membranes are engineered to withstand environmental conditions, ensuring long-term effectiveness. Proper installation of gas membranes involves sealing joints and connections to maintain their integrity and effectiveness. Regular monitoring of gas membrane systems is essential to detect any potential breaches and address them promptly.
